About the MyPleasure Staff
At MyPleasure, a large part of our success is our staff. We hire only
the best and the brightest, and as a result, we have a smart, dedicated,
experienced team. We come from diverse backgrounds and bring a range of
skills and experience, but we do have one thing in common: We're always
on the lookout for ways to improve our customers' experience and promote
the ideal of healthy sexuality. Here are some of the people who help set
MyPleasure apart from the competition:
Dr. Sandor Gardos, President and Staff Sexologist
A licensed clinical psychologist and sex therapist, as well as a
board-certified sexologist, Dr. Gardos is MyPleasure's founding member
and currently serves as its President and CEO. Dr. Gardos not only sets the strategy and vision for
MyPleasure, but also ensures our sensual products are of the highest
quality and that our customers are provided with the most updated sexual
information and relevant advice.
Amy E. Levinson, Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Levinson brings more than 25 years of extensive direct mail marketing experience
to MyPleasure. Before joining MyPleasure, Ms. Levinson worked for a highly respected San Francisco-based
adult pleasures catalog company. As Vice President of Marketing, she undertook the
creative and strategic vision of the company and successfully developed their enterprise
level e-commerce. After 12 years at the helm and nearly tripling gross sales, Ms. Levinson
left to become a founding member of MyPleasure. With her extensive experience integrating
direct mail cataloging with the emerging technologies of e-commerce, her contacts within the
industry, and her dedication to the success of the company, Ms. Levinson is a valuable member
of MyPleasure’s team.
Dr. Linda Mona, Director of Research and
Professional Relations
Dr. Linda R. Mona is a licensed clinical psychologist who has spent over sixteen
years focused on sexuality issues in a variety of research, teaching and clinical
settings. Much of Dr. Mona's work has explored the sexual lives of people with
disabilities, earning her numerous awards from the American Psychological Association
and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality. She has also authored
countless journals, articles, textbook chapters and professional conference
presentations on the topic. In addition, Dr. Mona has worked with a number of
Internet companies developing content, responding to reader questions and playing
an integral role in addressing sexuality issues unique to older adults and people
with disabilities, as well as other, diverse populations.
Ron Alcaraz, Corporate Controller
Mr. Alcaraz is responsible for analyzing and reviewing financial data, reporting financial
performance, preparing profit plans, and monitoring expenditures and costs. Mr. Alcaraz brings
over 16 years of experience in SEC, FASB, and GAAP reporting. Prior to joining the company, he
held controller and senior accountant positions in insurance, manufacturing and high technology
public and privately held companies. Mr. Alcaraz holds a BS in Business Administration with a
concentration in accounting from San Francisco State University.
Calvin Kandarian, Operations Manager
Mr. Kandarian brings over 15 years of warehousing, distribution and operations experience to the
MyPleasure team. Prior to joining MyPleasure, he worked at a variety of companies ranging from
wholesale, retail, and light manufacturing as part of the distribution and materials teams.
Mr. Kandarian is responsible for the MyPleasure order fulfillment and warehouse operations, and
will contribute to the future growth and expansion of the MyPleasure operations department.
I think this Web site is extremely informative for first time users
